Favorite Picks•I like Brother’s Golondrinas Buffalo piece for the bold light and dark contrasts. Corbett’s Crease reminds me of one of my favorite artists, Mark Rothko and the strong use of warm, rich tones would enhance almost any space. I like works like Golemboski’s Hat Trick because they make you keep looking at the details to see what else the imagine might contain. The movement and color in Jessica Kennedy’s piece is like looking underwater, very captivating. I loved the use of color and material in Swimming by Stephanie Lerma. All of these pieces would be a lot of fun to place in a room.
Selecting Art•Art need NOT “match” an interior. Art is a subjective, personal selection. First and foremost art should be something that gives the homeowner pleasure to look at and live with. If this is the case the art will enhance the room it is placed in. That being said, art can bring a room to life by bringing out accents of color and texture already being used in the space.
Why Buy Original Art?•For the very reason that it is original and unique.
