Best advice you’ve been given•Don't go through the motions of being an artist, be ready for any opportunities that arise.

Goals/Aspirations•To establish longevity in my career so it can continue to provide a livelihood.

Favorite artist•I stopped having a favorite artist. Instead I started asking: "What is my favorite thing about this artist?" This has allowed me to consider and examine many artists' work, no matter what kind of medium.

What are you reading•Color and Meaning: Art, Science, and Symbolism by John Gage

Hope to learn how to •Build a home from the foundation up

You spend a lot of time thinking about•How we as human beings fit into the grand scheme of nature and how art can connect us for very brief moments.

Favorite musical artist•I often listen to traditional, intertribal songs but when I am in the studio painting, I like to listen to classical music.

What do you do when not creating art •Being a full-time father and tending to our family livestock and all that ranch life demands. Attending traditional/cultural ceremonies and learning all I can about traditional Navajo teachings and stories.
